According to NA Speaker Alen Simonyan, Russian peacekeepers have not done anything in Nagorno Karabakh.
“I feel sorry for the Russian soldiers who died in Artsakh after the events of September 19, but let’s record one thing: those soldiers died 2-3 hours after the end of military operations. The peacekeepers have not done anything in Nagorno-Karabakh,” he told reporters.
According to Simonyan, the war was stopped at the moment when it was possible.
“I am sure that the Russian peacekeepers did not know that they will not be able to act, the Azerbaijanis will push them out of any place and they pushed them out like that, but no one knew about it,” he said.
According to Simonyan, Russia is trying to keep the situation in its hands, not realizing that it has left the situation open for a long time.
“During the recent events, there was an attack on Artsakh from 15 places, and the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying: we are calling on Armenia and Azerbaijan… Armenia was being pressured to react in some way, no, no,” Simonyan said.
