HERENVEEN – On June 5, the duo ‘The behavioral generator’ will play the Theater of Enlightenment in the Alzheimer Cafe.
The Behavior Generator consists of Ina Holtrop and Wycher van den Bremen. They make behavior visible, they act out situations in short sketches that can occur when someone is hindered by dementia.
They do not shy away from difficult situations. There are no ready-made solutions. Trying out, doing what works, learning from experience, that’s important. Practical situations that people encounter in their daily lives and that they may find a bit difficult. They try to play the Behavior Generator, of course they do this with respect to the person and with humor. Humor is very important here because it is precisely through its use that heavy subjects become easier to discuss. When not everything is rosy, the use of humour, enjoying beautiful moments, laughing together at unexpected events is important. That will all pass during the evening.

The doors open at 7:00 PM, the program starts around 7:30 PM and ends around 9:15 PM.
