With the film “The Big Lebowski” (USA, 1998, 117′) by the Coen brothers, the dedication to comedy begins, as part of the film screenings of the “Exauda” Artistic Association.


Lebowski (Jeff Bridges), is an unemployed hippie and the friend of Walter (John Goodman), a former Vietnam veteran. Together, during the breaks of a bowling tournament, they try to solve the case of a kidnapping, a pee-peeped carpet as well as the association with a famous millionaire. Lebowski is forced to hand over the liters so that a millionaire with the same name can get his wife back. The plan fails as his friend decides to keep the money for himself.
“The Big Lebowski” will be screened on Sunday 12 and Monday 13 May at the “Exauda” theater (Kountouriotou 31) starting at 9.15 pm. Financial aid 2 euros.
This will be followed by screenings of Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights on May 19-20, Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones’ Monty Python and the Holy Grail on May 26-27 May and Kevin Smith’s Clerks on June 2-3.
