jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) was officially held again by collaborating with the e-commerce giant, namely Shopee, as the main sponsor of a club tournament in Southeast Asia called the Shopee Cup.
After being the main sponsor of League 1 in Indonesia, Shopee is now the main sponsor of inter-club tournaments in Southeast Asia.
As is known, the Indonesian National Team fought in the AFF Suzuki Cup in 2010.
At that time, Indonesia and Vietnam were appointed to host this grand tournament in Southeast Asia. Indonesia managed to advance to the final with an impressive match record, one of which was achieving perfect points and becoming group A champion.
Different from the previous AFF tournament, the Shopee Cup was held to bring together well-known clubs from Southeast Asia.
This tournament will be attended by football clubs from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
