Didier Deschamps and his players will start their 2024 year with a friendly match against the Mannschaft, at Groupama Stadium.
It was in the pipeline, it’s official. The French team will meet Germany in a friendly on March 23, 2024 (9 p.m.), on the lawn of the Groupama-Stadium in Lyon (Décines-Charpieu). Beaten (1-2) in Dortmund by the Mannschaft in September, the Blues will have the opportunity to take their revenge during this first meeting of an important year, culminating in the Euro (June 14- July 14, 2024) at their neighbor’s house.
“The ticket office will open Tuesday December 12 at 11 a.m. for FFF licensees and members of the French Team Supporters Club, then on Thursday December 14 at 11 a.m. for the general public,” indicates the FFF in a press release. The identity of a second opponent during the March gathering, during an expected meeting at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille, should quickly be known.
