The body of the wild boar that was shot was stolen, and the group in the car behind it; Investigation started

Thiruvananthapuram: Paruthipally forest department has started an investigation into the missing carcass of a wild boar that was shot. The incident happened on Friday night. Rajan, an ex-serviceman and a shooter assigned by the panchayat, reached the spot after receiving information about the wild boar disturbance in Manoj’s backyard in Iravur part of Aryanad panchayat.

The wretched pig was also shot. Later, Rajan was coming home to collect the materials because there were no materials to hide it. The body went missing. Manoj, the owner of the house, informed Rajan that the pig that had been shot was missing.

Further investigation revealed that the group arrived in the car and smuggled the pig. Rajan informed Panchayat President Vijumohan and then Forest Department and Police.

Forest department officials and police reached the spot and took action. A statement has been taken from Rajan. An investigation has been started under the leadership of Paruttipally Forest Department Range Officer and Deputy Range Officer.
