The Bulgarian ensemble won a bronze medal in the all-around at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia.

Magdalina Minevska, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Margarita Vasileva ranked third with a total of 67,400 points (34,150 on five hoops and 33,250 on ribbons and balls).

Yesterday, the Bulgarian women were seventh in the standings after making mistakes in their composition with five hoops.

Today, however, the graduates of Vesela Dimitrova were flawless in their extremely complex combination and received the highest score for three ribbons and two balls of 33.250 points.

The Nationals advance to both of Sunday’s finals, entering with the highest strength of tape and ball ratings.

The champion in the all-around was the team of Israel with 69,300 points (38,150 five hoops and 31,150 on three bands and two balls), and in second place was Italy with 68,150 (37,050 and 31,100) points.

The judge for Bulgaria in the ensembles was Hristiana Todorova, who was in the body difficulty panel today. 15 teams participate in the competition.

The World Cup ends tomorrow from 12:30 to 17:30 with the finals of the women’s individual apparatus and the ensembles with the participation of Boryana Kalein, Stiliyana Nikolova and the Bulgarian team.
