A 25-year-old woman was injured a short time ago (Monday) after a bus collided with an electric pole and a building on Lavanda Street in Tel Aviv. MDA medics and paramedics gave her medical treatment on the spot and evacuated her to Ichilov Hospital in the city, in a minor condition with bruises on her upper body.

A senior MDA medic, Yanki Zaida, who arrived at the scene on an MDA motorcycle, said: “When we got to the street, we saw the bus collided with an electric pole and a building, and the first thing we thought was that it was a very serious and, God forbid, fatal accident. It was dangerous to approach the place because of the electric wires and the bent pole and the electric company arrived at the scene to deal with the danger and prevent electrocution.”

“Miraculously, 2 of the bus passengers were only slightly injured and left independently through the back door. We put them in the ambulance for medical examinations. One of the injured, a 25-year-old woman who was injured in her upper body, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.” added

The examiners of the Traffic Division of the Israel Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
