The Casablanca Stock Exchange gets off to a gloomy start

The MASI.20, an index bringing together the 20 most liquid stocks, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, fell by 0.08% respectively, to 1.053, 15 pts and 0.1%, at 949.38 pts.

Counter-trend, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, thematic index which calculates the price performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.2%, to 1,105.12 pts.

On the value front, Med Paper (+7.33% to 20.5 dirhams (DH)), Aluminum du Maroc (+3.7% to 1,400 DH), Cartier Saada (+2.3% to 24.5 DH), TGCC (+1.25% to 238.95 DH) and Snep (+0.95% to 530 DH) recorded the largest increases.

Conversely, the biggest declines were recorded by Résidences Dar Saada (-1.89% to 35.25 DH), Auto Hall (-1.45% to 64 DH), Douja Prom Addoha (-1.4% at 21.1 DH), Sodep Marsa Maroc (-1.05% to 278.05 DH) and CFG Bank (-0.48% to 154.25 DH).

On Tuesday, the MASI ended down 0.19%.
