In Kyrgyzstan, the cause of death of Soviet actress Tatyana Streltsova has been named. It was previously reported that she died on November 17 at the age of 70.
“Streltsova died on November 17 after a long illness,” the press service of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov quoted TASS as saying.
In turn, the AKIpress agency published an obituary, which notes that the actress served at the Russian Drama Theater in Bishkek since 1972 and gained fame thanks to her roles as Gali Chetvertak in the play “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” and Lisa in the production “Woe from Wit.”
In recent years, audiences have fallen in love with her one-woman show “Oscar and the Pink Lady.”
In 1996, Tatyana Streltsova was awarded the title of People’s Artist of Kyrgyzstan.
