The video surveillance system at the elections can be improved, the CEC will listen to proposals for its development, said Nikolai Bulaev, deputy chairman of the commission.
“There will be some additional needs – we will definitely develop the system, change it, there are no problems. And we will listen to the assessments of those voiced during the election campaign in 2021. It seems to me that we adequately perceive constructive proposals,” Bulaev said at the CEC information center.
The deputy head of the commission admitted that he “just wants to go to the shower” because of the fake videos. He also noted that the CEC received several requests that the video rewind function is not available to all observers.
“We have given the rewind function to those who can take expert opinions on this matter. unbiased, non-politicized decision, “Bulaev explained.
According to him, the parties, within the framework of the current video surveillance system, can structure what they watch, “weeding out the grain from the chaff.”
