From November 24, 2021, the Central Bank of RA is a member of the international prestigious platform of the Sustainable Banking and Financial Platform (SBFN).
The platform was created by the International Finance Corporation and helps members mobilize information, resources and practical support to develop and implement national initiatives that contribute to the development of sustainable finance at the national, regional and global levels. SBFN is a voluntary platform for financial sector regulators in emerging markets to share knowledge and build capacity for sustainable finance. Currently, 66 institutions from 44 developing countries are members of the platform.
Platform members are committed to developing sustainable finance in line with international best practices, with the aim of improving environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk management, and directing capital flows to activities with a positive climate impact.
