“The Chabadniks”: Nissim and Anatoly from “Kupa Rashit” meet for the first time on stage

The Cameri Theater will stage a new play “Chabadnik” in August, with an intriguing casting – Yaniv Suissa and Daniel Stiofin (They are Nissim and Anatoli from “Kupa Rashit”) In their first role together on stage and accompanied by the Revolution Orchestra, with ten musicians on stage, in an original Israeli musical and in a particularly large and invested production.

The musical tells the story of Yehuda and Chaim (Ofri Bitterman and Rafael Abbas), a pair of 23-year-old twin brothers from Kfar Chabad, the first – a genius in Torah and the second – not a genius and certainly not in Torah, who must find a match at “their extreme age”. “A matchmaking operation”, they arrive at a reputable matchmaker (Tali Oren), in a dubious neighborhood on the outskirts of Tel Aviv and get involved with Menashe (Yaniv Suissa / Shlomi Kuriat), the head of a crime family who terrorizes the neighborhood’s residents. “It’s hard to let go.” The Chabadniks “- a funny, witty, cheeky and surprising musical with the participation of dozens of actors, dancers and singers that you will want to see thirteen times.
