In the presence of several members of the government, the National Association for Development and Real Estate Promotion, SONAPI, as well as the victims and populations of Coyah. The spokesperson of the Collectif des Déguerpis, Mamadou Samba Sow, recalled the huge loss and the serious violation of human rights recorded in 1998 and 2019, after the eviction of the residents of the Kaporo-rails, Kipé 2 and Dimesse neighborhoods in the municipality of Ratoma.

“This September 14, 2024 will remain forever etched in the memory of the citizens of Kaporo-Rails and the people of Guinea. This date is equivalent to making up for a 26-year-old injustice for the evictions of 1998 and 5 years for those in 2019. Thousands of homes, schools, markets and places of worship were destroyed in violation of the laws of our country. Thus the lives of thousands of families were destroyed. Serious violations of human rights have been recorded. These actions have encouraged among our community that the State has been rejected. »

I want this ceremony to be for you, for us, but also for all Guineans, as a symbol that the Head of State is resolutely committed to drying the tears of all the sons of this country. A solution to all our problems, to all our illnesses, is found in peace, stability, sustainability but above all, and I insist, in continuity. »

To achieve the objectives of the restoration proposed by the CNRD, Amara Camara sends an appeal: “I therefore want to invite everyone to be part of this dynamic of continuity that will allow us together to achieve the objectives of the restoration. » He spoke to the victims in these terms: “Brothers and sisters, your new lands have a land title, unlike the previous ones, they will be developed and they are in a promising area. We have certainly come a long way, but we must recognize that the objectives have not yet been achieved. That’s why I invite everyone to continue and continue as well. »
