In a press release, the collective “SF Clés” (Midwives for a Free and Informed Choice in Health) announces that it is filing a complaint with the Court of Justice of the Republic against Aurélien Rousseau, Minister of Health, for his false comments of October 3 2023 on France-Inter concerning the absence of side effects of vaccination against COVID 19.
The collective joins to the action of Professor Perronne, Xavier Azalbert and all the victims’ collectives.

The press release is reproduced here:

Aware of the challenge of our responsibilities of midwives and our regular contacts with patients, we very quickly questioned ourselves in the face of the contradictory statements of doctors, researchers and scientists, both in France and abroad, on the real effectiveness of vaccines and their possible adverse effects, particularly on pregnant women.

We followed very closely scientific publications since the beginning of the emergence of the COVID epidemic in order to provide maximum medical safety to our patients and their unborn children, while respecting our code of ethics.

We also questioned the order of midwives, without receiving an answer on the advisability of vaccination for pregnant women and its potential side effects, not only on them but on their unborn children, especially since it There was no prior study, pregnant women being excluded from laboratory studies.

We questioned our order specifically about two studies aimed at pregnant women:

The first, the COROPREG study, which was announced by the Minister of Health in May 2020 and which aims to know the incidence of maternal COVID19 infection, its severity and the consequences on morbidity and mortality. maternal and neonatal. No response was made by INSERM and it is surprising that the conclusions of this study, announced almost 3 years ago, are not The second, the COVACPREG study which was launched in April 2021 with the aim “to enrich knowledge on vaccines against COVID 19 and their possible adverse effects in women”. However, here again, 2 years after it began, no results from this study are available and the ANSM (National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products) remains silent…

The National Council of the Order of Midwives in its “FAQ on COVID-1 wrote :

This threat worries us Insofar as the results of studies intended for pregnant women are not availabledepriving us of resources regarding the effectiveness and safety of the latest vaccines against Covid 19

Therefore, how can we affirm, as the Minister of Health does, that there would be no adverse effects from vaccination?

This statement is misleading given the adverse effects reported to the ANSM. In addition, we note that women are frequently affected by cycle disorders following vaccination against Covid 19.

We feel prevented and threatened from exercising our duty to provide clear, honest and transparent information to our patients.

How can we respect our code of ethics which prohibits us from promoting a treatment that is insufficiently scientifically validated (art R.4127-314 of the Public Health Code)?

Especially since we are prohibited from alienating our professional independence in any form whatsoever (article R.4127-307).

Unlike the Minister of Health, we cannot tell a woman that vaccination against COVID 19 is safe.

This is the reason for our action.
