The ‘Combined Film Council’ held a human chain at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) on Saturday morning (August 3) holding banners with the slogan ‘We are always for peace’ against all forms of killing and violence. At this time, they prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of all those killed. At the same time, Komalmati condemned the ‘third party’ violence by robbing the movement of meritorious students.

Convener of Combined Film Council Khorshed Alam Khosru, Actress Anjana Rahman, Rokeya Prachi, Aruna Biswas, Ratna, Producer Alimullah Khokon, Musician-Director SD Rubel, Director Habibul Islam Habib, Bazlur Rashed Chowdhury, SA Haque Alik, Mostafizur Rahman Manik etc. .

Producer Khorshed Alam Khosru said, ‘We had and continue to support the students’ movement. The students got more than what they asked for. But the student movement is no longer in the hands of the students. It is now in the hands of a third party. Demolition plans have since begun. In the current situation there is no more student movement. So I’m standardizing against conspiracy from Sutikagar in films. We want peace in this country. The Film Council is always in favor of peace.’

Actress Rokeya Prachi, wishing fair justice for the murders, said, ‘In the liberation war of Bangladesh today, a group is wasting the resources of the state by putting guns on the necks of students. We all know them. From ordinary people to journalists and police, no one is safe from these terrorists. Genuine students who are on the streets demanding quota movement will not take this responsibility. A group of states want to come to power by robbing your movement, there is a conspiracy from abroad. Don’t fall into this trap. They want to push back Bangladesh. You (students) will not be puppets of those who want to kill and destroy Bangladesh. So I request the parents to take your children back home.’
