Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov met with Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, violinist Elvin Khoja Ganiev, who is currently studying in Germany, Day.Az reports.
Touching upon the activities of the committee, projects carried out in various countries in the field of promoting Azerbaijani culture and art, the chairman noted that he highly appreciates the activities of the Honored Artist Elvin Khoja Ganiev, and inquired about his creative plans. He emphasized that the attention and care of the great leader Heydar Aliyev for Azerbaijani culture is successfully continued today by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. It is thanks to this that the name of Elvin Khoja Ganiev was included in the “Red Book” of young talents of Azerbaijan in 2008 by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded a special monthly scholarship, in 2016 – the Presidential Prize for Youth, and in 2017 at the age of 20 – the title Honored Artist of Azerbaijan.
According to Elvin Khoja Ganiev, the fact that he is the grandson of the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Server Ganiev, as well as the attention of the Azerbaijani state, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and personally Mehriban Aliyeva encourage him, as a citizen and artist of Azerbaijan, to take a more responsible approach to his work , working harder to promote our country and culture in the world.
