The Community of Madrid brings together the largest university offer in Spain, congregating 17 of the 89 university centers that exist in almost 200 municipalities in the country, 20% of the total, and is also at the forefront in terms of educational offer broad with 1,660 degrees, including Degrees, Masters and Doctorates, according to the analysis prepared by the group of experts of the Coordinated Institute of Governance and Applied Economics (ICGEA), which has examined the Spanish university and training offer.

“The work done by public and private universities to have quality degrees and, in some cases, develop disruptive educational models aligned with the demand of the professional market, is transforming into the creation of a virtuous community of talent that feeds back”, highlighted Sánchez Lambás.

Specifically, the Community hosts eleven private centers: Alfons X el Sabio, Antonio de Nebrija, Camilo José Cela, CUNEF, ESIC, Europea de Madrid, Francisco de Vitoria, Internacional Villanueva, CEU Sant Pablo, UDIMA and Pontifícia Comillas. Also, six public ones (Alcalá, Autònoma, Carles III, Complutense, Politècnica and King Joan Carles) and the headquarters of the UNED.

L’Alfonso X the Wise, which also appears in the main international rankings, offers training in more than 125 Bachelor’s, Double Degree, Master’s and Doctorate programs, as well as Third Cycle FP qualifications. It also has 8,800 agreements with companies and 93% of its students find employment in the first year after finishing their studies.

On the other hand, the Comillas Pontifical University, run by the Company of Jesús, included between positions 601-650 in the QS international ranking and among its most recognized degrees are ICAI, the university’s School of Engineering, and ICADE, which brings together the faculties of Law and Economic and Business Sciences. It stands out for the high level of employment of its graduates, which is close to 100%.
