The March 26 session of the “Civil Contract” department was personally chaired by Nikol Pashinyan. During the session, a decision was made to remove CP member Sevak Tigranyan, advisor to the governor of Kotayk, from the ranks of the party.
According to the information received by “Hraparak”, the basis of Tigranyan’s removal is the clash of the wings of two opposite poles, Sasun Mikayelyan and Romanos Petrosyan, which has spread and reached the lower levels.
According to the media, Sasun Mikayelyan tried to do everything so that Sevak Tigranyan became the head of the CP of Nairi community of Kotayk region, and Romanos Petrosyan put forward his candidate. “This disagreement between the two sides will last a year, it is dragging on. Romanos managed to remove Sassoon’s candidate,” his source told “Hraparak”.
The media tried to contact Sevak Tigranyan, but he did not answer the calls.
A very serious reason is needed for removal from CP and this decision is made only with the consent of Nikol Pashinyan, and very few people have been removed from the ruling party in these years, as it was accepted.
“Hraparak” was told that Tigranyan used to be an obedient Communist Party member, but recently he started to express his disagreement with the “let’s surrender so that there is no war” policy, maybe that played a role.
