From June 4 to 10, 211 professionals in the sector tourist members of the international association Connections Luxury participate in the event «Connections Luxury Europe», which takes place and Barcelona that day Costa Brava and which schedules business meetings, networking meetings, interactive workshops and five familiarization trips through Catalonia.
The event is powered by Connections Luxury -association that integrates tourism and luxury travel professionals from all over the world- and organized by the Catalan Tourism Agency, Turisme Barcelona and the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board of the Diputació de Girona with the aim of a side, of to show a wide range of quality and exclusive services and experiences aimed at customers with high purchasing power and, on the other hand, to create business opportunities between buyers and suppliers of tourism services.
Specifically, this Wednesday, the Camiral Golf & Wellness in Caldes de Malavella hosted the “Market of experiences” activity, organized by the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, in which a hundred professionals they have actively participated in three workshops through which they have experienced and evaluated different activity proposals of quality that the Costa Brava and Pyrenees de Girona destination offers to visitors who want to enjoy more exclusive services and activities. The workshops have been given by local companies such as La Gastronòmica, Bravanariz, Cocktail Time, Gla Empordà, Laura Masramon and Edgar Tarrés, who have run food and wine and wellness activities.
Following the workshops, a lunch with networking took place which was also attended by twenty Girona tourism companies associated with the marketing clubs of Enogastronomy, Health and Wellness, and Unique Premium of the entity with the specific purpose of promoting the ‘high-end offer of Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations among travel planner specialists and international event organizers.
After the “Market of experiences” and until June 10, two familiarization trips to the Costa Brava are scheduled for groups of ten professionals in the sector, mostly from Europe and the United States, with the intention of giving – them to learn about the possibilities offered by the destination through cultural guided tours, gastronomic meals and workshops and outdoor active tourism activities, among others.
“Having more than two hundred professionals specialized in luxury tourism in our territory gives us a great opportunity to continue positioning the destination Costa Brava and the Pyrenees of Girona in the international arena”, assures Jaume Dulsat, acting first vice-president of the Board of Trustees of Tourism Costa Brava Girona.
