Taikonauts located at the orbital station of the PRC within the framework of the Shenzhou-13 mission made a spacewalk in order to carry out extravehicular work. As specified, this was the second exit of the crew members outside the station – for the first time in outer space they appeared on November 7.

The ship’s commander Zhai Zhigang and crew member Ye Guangfu left the station for work. Female taikonaut Wang Yaping remained aboard.

The Chinese station is located at an altitude of about 400 kilometers and is expected to operate for at least 10 years.
