These health structures have been carefully equipped to respond effectively to the needs and expectations of the targeted people as clearly illustrated by the Reproductive Health Reference Center (CRSR) of El Kelaâ des Sraghna, unique of its kind at the provincial level. in terms of quality medical services offered to women.

Registered as part of the “transversal” program and scheduled for the years 2014 (Phase 1) and 2020 (Phase 3), this Center was built on an area of ​​600 m2, for a total cost estimated at 1,765,000 DH, fully funded by the INDH.

This project sets the objectives, among others, of supporting access to health care, reducing maternal and infant mortality, promoting good reproductive health and providing appropriate care for mothers and children. ‘child.

Supported by the Provincial Health Delegation, the Center provides various services, including care for mothers and children, as well as early detection of breast cancer by mammography and cervical cancer by colonoscopy.

The Center includes a reception and waiting area, diagnostic and detection rooms by ultrasound, colonoscopy and mammography, a vaccination area and sterilization and observation rooms, in addition to administrative outbuildings.

Approached by MAP, the provincial delegate for health and social protection in El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Younès Lakrik, indicated that this Center, the result of a partnership between the INDH and the Provincial Delegation of Health, is a sure added value for health provision at the provincial level.

This partnership demonstrates the INDH’s strong commitment to supporting and promoting the health sector, said Mr. Lakrik, highlighting the establishment of a number of health projects, structures and equipment also in rural environment.

On another note, he recalled that the main mission of this Center is to offer consultations and early detection services for breast cancer (targeted women aged between 40 and 69 years) and cervical cancer. (women aged between 30 and 49), noting that this structure has specialized medical staff and necessary medical equipment.

The Center also provides other services on a regular basis, including awareness campaigns on family planning and early detection of breast and cervical cancer, in partnership with women’s associations. operating in this field, concluded the official.
