RPA Vice President Armen Ashotyan, being in “Nubarashen” Penitentiary, continues active remote contacts with the public. As “Aravot” reports, he answered citizens’ questions within the framework of “5 questions to Armen Ashotyan” teleconference.
Armen Ashotyan answered the question: how did he celebrate the New Year in the prison cell? “New Year’s Eve is a family occasion, and although I have not been with my family for 7 months due to Nikol Pashinyan’s personal instructions and immorality, I have only been physically in a prison cell. With spirit, mind, and heart, I spent both that day and Christmas next to my children, with my family. There was a small amount of fruit, sweets, dry goods on the table. I heard His Holiness’ speech on TV. Immediately after the 12th beat, I prayed for my family and my Motherland. I congratulated the supervisors on duty at the floor.”
Ashotyan answered the question: Pashinyan fired the governor of Lori, in general, he is confused, what do you think, why? “The man who brought so much disaster to the Armenian people, so many lies both internally and externally, and who committed so many meannesses and sins, must certainly be, as you say, “mixed”. That confusion is first of all in his head, in his soul, in his heart (maybe also in his stomach on New Year’s Day). And although Pashinyan still shows records of “political vitality” after all this, no one has yet managed to achieve political immortality. Therefore, the day when he himself will become a victim of the mess he created is inevitable. There’s a certain cosmic justice in Nicole’s frame of mind, but it’s kind of half-hearted until it’s applied to her personally.”
Ashotyan gave the following answer to the question: will there be extraordinary parliamentary elections and if there will be, will the RPA participate? “The issue of holding extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia will be decided outside, in the power centers served by Pashinyan. Just as it happened in the case of the 2021 parliamentary emergency. I know that such a question has not been discussed in the RPA yet. I think the decision made by my party will depend on a number of fundamental issues, the most important of which is the protection of the national interests of the Armenian people. Simply appearing in the Parliament, which is an important issue for the Republicans as one of the leaders of the political field, cannot be the only justification for participation. In case of a possible emergency, it will be necessary to clarify the goals and mission of our potential participation.”
