International concern has increased due to the conditions experienced by more than two million people in the Gaza Strip, despite hopes of reaching a possible truce that Doha, Cairo and Washington are working on, about five months after the outbreak of the devastating war between the Zionist entity and Hamas.

The occupation army once again bombed the Gaza Strip, where the war left about 30,000 martyrs, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and threatened the population with famine, according to the United Nations. The mediating countries hope to reach a truce before the month of Ramadan.
The United Nations warned of a “large-scale, almost inevitable famine” threatening 2.2 million people, who constitute the vast majority of the population of the besieged Palestinian enclave, especially in the north, where widespread destruction, fighting and looting prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid.
International organizations have previously warned that the aid entering the Gaza Strip is very scarce and does not meet the needs of the population.
“Unless there is any change, northern Gaza faces imminent famine,” World Food Program Deputy Executive Director Karl Skau told the UN Security Council.
