Within the support program of the textile industry of Armenia, the visits to textile companies continue.
RA Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan visited “Artik PCH” and “Czech-Arm-Invest” companies of Shirak marz this time.
The deputy minister toured the company’s territory, got acquainted with the products, production and professional potential. The latest technologies and equipment used in the company’s production process enable the local manufacturer to expand the range of products and improve its quality features.
During the meetings with the representatives of the textile industry companies, the main problems of the sector were discussed, including personnel provision and training. Rafael Gevorgyan also visited Artik State College to get acquainted with the staffing process and to discuss the possibilities of making it more efficient, as well as contributing to the training of qualified personnel in the field.
The RA Textile Industry Support Program was launched in January 2022 and is being implemented with funding from the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund, EBRD support and the coordination of the Business Support Office. The program is aimed at the development of sustainable and inclusive textile industry in Armenia. the latter is included among the main strategic priorities of Armenia’s economy.
