The growing friendship between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is beginning to show its signs in the local fashion industry as well, with the guest of honor at Kornit Fashion Week 2022 being the super designer Dr. Mona El Mansouri, who will present a collection of 30 models around the value of peace.
Fashion Week, initiated and produced by Moti Rape, has been held for the 11th year, and has adhered to the concept of changing the ideal of beauty that accompanies it. Like last year, this week was held in collaboration with Kornit Digital, a company that produces fashion with innovative and sustainable technology, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the Export Institute and the Manufacturers Association are also joining the project – all dedicated to the overarching goal of encouraging industry and local produce.

The events of the Thyme Fashion Week, which will take place at the Tel Aviv Port on 3-6 April, will take part and will feature renowned designers such as Dror Contento, Sabina Musayev, Idan LaRoss, Tovahle, Alon Livne, Maskit, Shahar Avnet, Bennhut and more, as well as new designers and brands. For them the first exposure on the track – like Yankee and Nataf, Seven Seventy, Keshet Shapiro to Kesh Limited David Wexler and Shir Goldstein to Nanig. In the best tradition, there will be a display of promising designers, which is always an exciting record, featuring Aharon Ganish, Aviram Pima, Rotem Shaul and Jennifer Kim.
The intriguing name is that of the international emirate designer Dr. Mona al-Mansouri, who said: “I am very excited about coming to Tel Aviv, and I want to be a practical and real example of Abraham’s agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. I want to be a model for inspiration and a springboard for all people from all countries, to take similar steps not only in fashion but in all fields wherever they are. ” Best known and appreciated in the international Arab fashion industry.
