Experts, meanwhile, say that in order to preserve youth and blooming appearance, it is not at all necessary to go to extremes – it is enough to make yourself useful daily habits.

Dermatologist, Associate Professor Angela Lamb in an interview with the portal “EatThis, NotThat!” listed the rules, the observance of which will allow you to prolong youth and look great in the photo and in life at any time. It is a matter of course to monitor your health, get checked by a doctor, eat right and give up harmful excesses. But there are also a number of non-obvious life hacks.

First, the doctor advises you to stop rubbing your eyes. This habit is common to many, we use three fingers with three eyelids, when our eyes are tired, when we want to sleep, not noticing that we are doing it more and more often. The result is reddening of the proteins, dryness and irritation of the skin, and even excessive loss of eyelashes.

The second advice of a dermatologist is to use vitamin serums for the face (serum). Sometimes such cosmetic oils cost a lot, but the expert emphasizes that you definitely should not save on this.

The third is to drink more clean water. As you know, the volume of water required per day cannot replace coffee, tea, compotes, soda; their body perceives them as liquid food. Only plain water in sufficient quantities is able to cleanse the body, nourish tissues, which is reflected in the skin of the face – it becomes cleaner and softer, its color is healthier. In dry weather or in winter, during heating periods, your doctor advises you to use a home humidifier. At the same time, it is not recommended to take a hot shower for a long time – it, paradoxically, will only dry out the skin.

The fourth tip is about the beauty of hair. The doctor recommends rinsing off the conditioner used after shampooing with cold water. The hair from this will become more shiny, and the body for a few seconds under a cool stream will only benefit as a stimulation of the vagus nerve.

Fifth, you should apply a moisturizer to the skin of your brushes every hour and a half. Many women know that frost and wind in winter and heating in rooms instantly dry out the skin of their hands, making it dry and reddened. Using the cream will prevent these unpleasant processes and preserve the beauty of your hands. And hands, meanwhile, are considered one of the indicators of a woman’s age along with the eyelid line, face oval, neck skin and décolleté.

Sixth, it’s important to get enough hours of sleep every day. “Stress hormones and lack of sleep break down collagen and accelerate aging,” says Dr. Lamb.

The seventh tip is to smile, laugh and try to enjoy even the smallest things. The doctor explains that laughter increases the function of the circulatory system and reduces stress, which are two important factors in maintaining youth.

Eighth – in sunny weather, wear a hat, the hem of which would cover the face, and use sunscreen. Excess tanning ages the skin, it is no secret.

The ninth tip – for lovers of cosmetic procedures. For ladies who do not exclude the use of Botox for themselves, the doctor advises to start this procedure as early as possible. The dermatologist explained: “If you want to be one step ahead, start early. It’s easier to prevent wrinkles from appearing than to deal with them when they get deep.”

The tenth advice for preserving youth was formulated by the editors of the publication itself: do not worry too much about the inevitable aging processes, this is not a disease, but a natural course of events, which, however, can be slightly influenced.
