“In line with resolution 151 of the Council of the Eurasian Financial Fee on September 23, 2022, till 2023 on April 1, the time period of the duty-free commerce privilege was prolonged. A threshold of 1,000 euros was set for items imported by carriers or by worldwide postal parcels to the EAEU normal territory, together with the Republic of Armenia. Nevertheless, within the Republic of Armenia, a stricter norm has been outlined: 200 thousand drams and (or) 31 kg of the exemption threshold,” the SRC official elaborated.

Garik Minasyan reminded that this regulation applies to every consignment and completely to merchandise for private use.

“If a citizen ordered a supply immediately, the worth of which doesn’t exceed 200,000 drams, he may also order such a supply the subsequent day, in that case the privilege can be relevant. However all this is applicable completely to merchandise for private use.
