The president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi, has called for this Monday an “extraordinary and urgent” Executive Committee to “address the situation in Spain”.
The CEOE has reported in a statement about this call “after the agreement reached by the PSOE with Junts within the framework of the investiture of Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government, and given the serious concern that exists in the business world.”
The agreement signed this Thursday by the PSOE and Junts that paves the way for the investiture of the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, establishes that The socialists will opt for measures that allow financial autonomy and access to the Catalan marketas well as a “unique” dialogue about the impact of the current financing model on that community.
In this area, the socialists will advocate for a plan to facilitate and promote the return to Catalonia of the headquarters of companies that changed their location to other territories in recent years.
