The electronic motorway vignette, recently⁢ available, must ⁤be purchased on⁤ the Federation portal and not from other suppliers. The Federal Office for ⁣Customs and Border Protection (OFDT) warns against ⁢other providers⁤ who demand more money for the e-witness.

The e-vignette for 2025 ‌is available⁢ from 1 December. The sticker ⁣for⁣ the ‍year 2025 must be purchased before January 31, under penalty of a fine.

The Federal Office warns against other ⁣services offering the⁣ e-vignette on the Internet as well – some of ⁤them already exist. These providers may charge additional fees‌ because the selling price is set‍ at a ⁤higher level.OFAC thus‌ recommends sticking to the⁤ official portal.

“Drivers should be aware ⁤that⁢ there ⁣are also unofficial ‍and ⁤more expensive suppliers. Consumer protection ⁢recommends ‌purchasing ‍the electronic vignette through the official federal sales channel at ‘e-vignette.ch’,” explains‍ André Bähler, head ⁤of⁣ politics and economics for consumer protection.
