The Golden Eagle Award has announced its winners. The absolute winner was “Silver Skates”, which took six awards (with 12 nominations), including the main one – “Best Film”. Also, the New Year’s melodrama, which was released at the end of 2020, received prizes for the best script, best cinematography, best production designer, best costume designer and best editing.
The prize for best director went to “Ivan Denisovich” by Gleb Panfilov. In addition, Filipp Yankovsky was awarded for his role in the film based on the story of Alexander Solzhenitsyn (“Best Actor in a Film”). And his son Ivan – for “Fire” (“Best Supporting Actor”).
Maria Aronova (“A Couple from the Future”) was named the best actress in a movie, Irina Gorbacheva (“Fire”) was named the best supporting actress.
Among the serials, biopics won: “The Seventh Symphony” – among television, “Vertinsky” – among streaming ones.
The prize for the best female role on TV was given to Alexandra Ursulyak (“My Mom’s Penguins”), for the male role – Alexei Guskov (“Seventh Symphony”).
Aleksey Aigi (“White Snow”) was recognized as the author of the best music for the film. Best Sound Engineer – Alexey Samodelko (“Fire”).
The best work of the make-up artist and plastic special effects was carried out by the team that worked on the film “The Last Knight: The Root of Evil”. The best special effects are behind The Humpbacked Horse.
The best non-fiction film – “Bondarchuk. Battle”, the best short film – “Friend”, the best cartoon – “July the Horse and the Big Races”.
