The final day of the competition of the 29th Azerbaijan Championship and the Baku Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship is taking place at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku, Day.Az reported on Friday with reference to Trend.
Today gymnasts demonstrate mixed exercises.
The participants of the competition are students of the Specialized Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, the Ojag Sports Club, the Neftchi Sports Club and the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 13.
Athletes compete for competition medals as part of women’s pairs (age category “toddlers” (born 2009-2018) and “children” (born 2008-2013)); male couples (“adults” (born 2009 and older)); mixed couples (“adults” (born 2009 and older)); women’s groups (“children” (born 2008-2013), “pre-juniors” (born 2006-2012), “juniors” (born 2005-2010), “adults” (2009 born and older)) and men’s groups (“pre-juniors” (born 2006-2012), “adults” (born 2009 and older)).
On the first day of the competition, gymnasts demonstrated balance and tempo exercises.
The competition takes place over two days – April 25-26, with 71 gymnasts taking part.
