It all originated after the influencer, popularly known as Scarredwill dedicate a harsh message to said channel through Instagram.
“I knew that in this industry there would be no empathy whatsoever, much less loyalty. That there are people who will do anything for the sake of getting a couple of views. But from there to being with me and two weeks later giving a screen to an abuser seems in very bad taste.“, stated the Big Brother finalist.
After this, Hey Social published a statement in which they explained that they lowered the interview because “had a negative impact on a personwhich we consider does not reflect the spirit of our team.”
“We want to express our apologies to those who were affected.“, they added.
What did Rubén say in the interview?
According to several media reports before the interview was removed from YouTube, in it Rubén Gutiérrez announced that he is evaluating the possibility of filing legal actions against Chilevisión for his expulsion from Big Brother.
There he criticized that in the program “there was a lot of editing, intentionality, of something that I was not. Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. And it wasn’t like that, they took away the context of the situation. I’m innocent“, alluding to the accusation of abuse against him.
In addition, he accused that he was never given the opportunity to defend himself on camera. “They told me that in November I would have the space. December came and nothing happened. I was very serious, the impact was so great that PH (We Can Talk) told me to do an interview and I said no, because I was not in condition,” he stated.
“We tried after talking, we had several meetings but no agreement was reached, so we will go through the legal field, another way (…) It will be soon, as appropriate,” he concluded.
