The first private Spanish rocket did not reach space

The Spanish private space company PLD Space launched a reusable suborbital rocket Miura 1. The launch was the first test of a private Spanish rocket.

Miura 1 spent 308 seconds in space, soared to a height of 46 meters and splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean.

The planned altitude was 80 kilometers, which, according to the US Air Force, is the boundary of space. However, the launch was declared a success.
