In Crimea, on the basis of the Dzhankoy machine-building plant, it is planned to create the first state industrial park in the region. The general director of the republic’s development corporation Dmitry Vorona announced this on October 28 on the air of the Crimea 24 TV channel.
“We have a task to restore the industrial potential of the Dzhankoy region. <…> We have set ourselves the task of forming an industrial park on the basis of the Dzhankoy machine plant. This is not as easy as it seems at first glance, ”Vorona said.
To solve the problems that arose, experts from other regions of the country and from the Association of Industrial Parks of the Russian Federation were involved. By the end of 2021, specialists intend to prepare a package of documents required to create a park.
In addition, negotiations with potential residents have already begun. “This includes potential machine builders,” said Vorona.
According to IA “Kryminform”, they started talking about plans to create a new enterprise on the basis of the Dzhankoy Machine-Building Plant in 2018, when the enterprise was in a state of bankruptcy. The bankruptcy procedure ended in 2020, then the management of the plant changed.
The Dzhankoy Machine-Building Plant specialized in the manufacture of tractor trailers, and also carried out their repair.
