Registration of a new artificial lung ventilator for liquid breathing, which can be used to treat newborns, will begin in Russia in 2024. With liquid breathing technology, the lungs are filled with a mixture saturated with dissolved oxygen that penetrates into the blood.

“We plan to register the product in several stages: at the first stage, we register a gas ventilator with an attachment for bronchoalveolar lavage (introduction of a solution into the bronchi). According to the plan, we start in 2024,” the press service of the TASS holding said.
