People who have consumed foie gras and who present “fever, isolated or accompanied by headache and muscle pain, are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption”, advises the Rappel Conso website.
«Sometimes severe forms can also occur with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women. Pregnant women, immunocompromised people and the elderly should pay particular attention to these symptoms,” the site adds.
