Chelsea legend and former goalkeeper, Petr Cech, identified the weakness of the London team and its coach, Mauricio Pochettino.

The London team is currently in tenth place in the Premier League, after suffering (10) defeats in (24) rounds.
Last season saw Chelsea occupy twelfth place, after Todd Boyle took ownership of the club in June 2023.
During statements on Sky Sports, Cech pointed out that the team possesses some components and talent, but lacks a backbone around which it can build.
He added: “We cannot really see the backbone or the core of the team. Change continues in all lines, from goalkeeping to attack.”
He added: “There is a lot of talent and potential, but the technical team led by (Pochettino) has not yet found the appropriate combination. The nucleus must be found that will stabilize the team and choose its best form.”
Cech believes that if Chelsea succeeds in finishing the season strong, he expects to return to competing for the Premier League title next season.
