Relief when the list of delegated ministers of Gabriel Attal’s government was announced: there is always one for Foreign Trade! Because if there is a subject that deserves all our attention, it is this one. In 2022, our trade deficit reached a peak: 162.7 billion euros (because of oil)! In 2023, we returned to 99.6 billion, according to the most recent customs figures, but that does not allow us to pay compliments.
Franck Riester therefore takes over from Olivier Becht who barely had time to make himself known.
