/ The Iraqi Volleyball Federation, headed by Habib Ali Al-Lawandi, held its regular meeting today, Friday, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
A statement from the Union received by Agency stated: “The final accounts for the year 2023 were approved and audited by a legal auditor, and the annual plan for 2024 was presented and approved, in addition to the approval of the estimated budget for the same year.”
He added, “The restructuring of the committees (ethics, arbitration, electoral, appeals, and discipline) was also approved, in addition to the election of the president and members of the Women’s Committee.”
He pointed out that “the resignation of 4 members of the Federation’s executive office was accepted, namely (First Deputy Dr. Azad Hassan, Dr. Naima Zidan, and members Ahmed Abdel Karim and Bashar Ali).”
He pointed out that “the above names were part of one of the meeting’s paragraphs, after 3 members submitted a request to be relieved of their positions.”
