The Art Museum of Girona invites to play and create with fabric in Art-Action!, the second day of artistic experimentation that it organizes. The event, which will be held this Saturday from 11 to 7, will offer visitors free experimental proposals that include workshops, participatory performances, visits and talks.
During the day, several artists and master craftsmen will share their experience with textiles and, at the same time, guide the participants, through various artistic techniques, on how use this material. Per to the family audience there will be dream catcher workshops, bracelets with tapestry techniques or mandalas with thread, while the public adult will find workshops in creative embroidery, macramé, tapestry, and even a large-scale contemporary cutting-edge collaborative workshop.
On the other hand, there is also provision a performance participatory by the artists Adriana Civit and Maria Poncelaand a guided tour focused on textiles by the museum’s Educational Service.
On the other hand, during the morning the talk will take place Textile dialogue: Gothic art and Aurèlia Muñoz, by Sílvia Ventosa, daughter of this artist who has exhibited her works with paper and fabric in museums such as MoMa in New York. He will present there Plant networksa work that has been restored for the occasion.

The workshops are free, uninterrupted and no registration is required. As workshop places become vacant, new participants will be able to fill them. The approximate duration needed to complete the proposals for the different workshops is between 30 and 45 minutes.
A food and drink service is planned in the museum gardens and a musical break with covers of The Beatles, with the group The Beetles.
