In the amendments to the second reading of the budget, deputies of the United Russia faction proposed tripling the volume of financing for preferential leasing in 2024-2026. up to 31 billion rubles and a third – preferential car loan programs (up to 65 billion rubles). In addition, the amount of funds for subsidizing the purchase of vehicles using gas engine fuel will increase by more than one and a half times – up to 16.7 billion rubles.

Initially, the draft budget for the coming three-year period provided 50.1 billion rubles. for preferential car loans – 12.3 billion rubles. in 2024, 18.07 billion in 2025 and 19.7 billion in 2026. In January – October 2023, sales of new passenger cars in Russia increased year-on-year by 60% to 829,548 units, the data shows. According to him, the main thing is that the support is properly structured, and its beneficiaries among manufacturers are those companies that actually increase the localization of their products. The weighted average price (taking into account market share) of a new passenger car in Russia based on the results of three quarters of 2023 amounted to 2.9 million rubles, which is 22% more than the same period last year, follows from Autostat data.
