Speaking about the indicators recorded in the field of agriculture, he noted that the gross output of agriculture in January-June 2023, at actual prices, was 9.7 billion drams, which, compared to January-June 2022, at comparable prices, decreased by 40.2 percent.

“As of July 1, 2023, compared to the same period last year, the number of cattle in the republic decreased by 15.8 percent, including cows by 17.3 percent, the number of small cattle by 22.4 percent, and birds by 36.9 percent. The number of pigs has increased by 39.2 percent,” the head of NSS summarized.
