On February 23, the Tate-Hatoryu group, which specializes in performing traditional Japanese sword fighting scenes, performed at the International Mugham Center in Baku.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, during the performance, the group members interacted with the guests in an interactive format, talked about this type of art, combat props, and also closely introduced the audience to this genre.

Performing at various events, the TATE-Hatoryu group continues to actively popularize the art of Tate, performing numerous stage performances in various states of the United States and Japan.

Last year, the group’s successful performances took place in Azerbaijan for the first time, which were received with great interest by the audience.

At the same time, the group also provides support in creating action scenes for many films as part of its activities.

Note that “Tate” is a staged art form of traditional Japanese sword fighting with unique characteristics, combining elements of ancient samurai martial arts, dance and kabuki.
