Libreville – June 24, 2023- At the military prytaneum stadium of the Ntchoréré camp located in Baraka, this day, the President of the Republic His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba took part in the delayed commemoration of the day of the mothers and fathers of the personnel of Defense and Security Forces.
In her word of welcome, the President of the Federation of Associations of Spouses of Defense Forces Personnel welcomed the presence of the Head of State, Supreme Head of the Defense and Security Forces.
An attention that demonstrates the attachment of the President of the Republic to the family life of the Defense and Security Forces of our country, as ” papa nation alongside the First Lady of Gabon who continues to work for the protection of widows “, she said among other things.
Among the highlights that furnished this event, there was the organization of a match which opposed the members of the aforementioned federation to the wives of the Security Forces as well as various sports activities.
This ceremony, in which the Vice-President of the Republic, the members of the government and the general officers also took part, was marked by the symbolic handing over of the keys to the prytanée stadium, intended for the personnel of the Defense Forces. The sports infrastructure is made up of a covered stand with 1,039 seats, VIP rooms, sanitary facilities, areas reserved for the practice of long jump, shot put and javelin as well as an athletics track. .
