Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan met with Swiss Armenian doctors as part of his official visit to Geneva.
The meeting was held at the Swiss Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, the United Nations Office in Geneva, and other international organizations, with the participation of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Confederation of Switzerland Andranik Hovhannisyan.
The minister presented the top directions and priorities of the sector, noted that the healthcare system has entered the stage of reforms and added that constructive relations with the diaspora are very important for the development of the healthcare sector in Armenia.
In this context, the parties discussed the perspectives of cooperation, referred to the involvement of the professional potential of the Diaspora in Armenian life, and the development of the health sector.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to develop joint programs and exchange experience.
