Today, Thursday, the Housing Fund of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities counted the number of transactions accepted electronically through the Ur platform.
A statement by the Fund’s media office, received by the (INA), stated that “the Housing Fund, since the opening of electronic applications on the third of last March until the twenty-fourth of this month, has accepted (11,200) loan transactions in Baghdad and the provinces.”
The statement added that “the Fund’s staff continues its diligent work in auditing and accepting loan transactions to serve the public interest and facilitate the procedures for citizens obtaining loans,” pointing out that “the procedures are proceeding very smoothly and there is no delay in the process of accepting and completing transactions.”
He explained that “opening the acceptance of transactions via the Ur electronic platform according to the new mechanism that was previously established and under the guidance of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, two Rikani banks contributed to facilitating the acceptance procedures and ensuring that those eligible for loans received them,” noting that “the necessary amounts were allocated to grant loans to (11,200) ) transaction that has been accepted.
The statement confirmed that “the Fund will open the acceptance of other lending transactions soon as part of its lending policy to include the largest number of citizens.”
