Homeland Today: The spokesman for the Houthi forces, Yahya Saree, announced that their forces are fully prepared to resume military operations against the occupation, if the truce in Gaza ends and military operations continue.
He said in a statement issued on Thursday evening: “In implementation of the directives of Commander Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him, and in response to the demands of our great Yemeni people and the calls of the free people of our Arab and Islamic nation, to fully stand with the choices of the Palestinian people and their proud resistance, the Yemeni armed forces confirm their full readiness to resume their military operations.” Against the Israeli enemy if it decides to resume its aggression against Gaza.”
He explained that “the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to expand their military operations against the Israeli entity, to include targets that may not be expected on land or at sea.”
Saree stressed that they continue “to prevent Israeli ships in the Red Sea, and will take further measures to ensure the full implementation of this decision.”
He said that military operations against the occupation will stop as soon as the aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip stops.
In his statement, Saree called on “all the free people of the Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world, to take honorable positions towards the Palestinian issue, and to support and assist his free resistance.”
It is noteworthy that the Houthis launched missile and drone strikes against the city of Eilat, south of occupied Palestine.
The Houthis also announced control of an Israeli-owned ship and transferred it off the coast of Yemen, threatening to attack any ship linked to the occupation, or transporting goods for the Israeli occupation.
