Jharkhand actress Riya Kumari along with her husband and filmmaker Prakash Kumar were driving towards Kolkata along National Highway 16 with their two-year-old daughter.
Prakash Kumar stopped his car near Mahisreka in Bagnan police station area at 6 am yesterday. A mysterious gang of three people who came there attacked him and tried to rob him of his belongings. After this, Rhea Kumari tried to rescue her husband from the mysterious gang. It is said that then the mysterious gang shot Riya Kumari and fled from there.
In this situation, Prakashkumar took his wife in the vehicle and sought help for about 3 km. Goes on the highway at Gulkachia – Birdala. Local residents then helped Prakash Kumar to take his wife to SCC Medical College Hospital in Uluberia. The doctors who examined him there said that he had already died.
