by time news

PESCARA. The policeman of the Immigration office of the Pescara police headquarters investigated for corruption two days ago was “moved to another office” by the commissioner Luigi Liguori (pictured below). Liguori does not enter into the merits of the story, as the investigations are underway, but stresses that “if they were to ascertain the responsibilities” against this policeman, “I would be sorry from a human point of view but not from a professional life point of view”, adds the police he deems it appropriate to “isolate from others” those who commit violations, since they may prove to be “harmful”.

The investigations were triggered after the reports of the colleagues of the Immigration office. Even the employee of a patronage is in trouble

The hypothesis that something abnormal was happening emerged within the Immigration Office about a year ago. Checks were carried out inside the Office itself, the police chief of the time was informed and on his arrival in the city Liguori, made aware of the situation, wanted the policeman to remain in his post. Meanwhile, as the months went by, “the staff of the mobile team and that of the Immigration Office worked in unison, maintaining the utmost secrecy on everything, with a considerable effort from this point of view”, until everything emerged , two days ago, with the search in the office and home, aimed at “ascertaining any violations of the law.” A job and a “result”, the one achieved by the police up to now, of which Liguori is “satisfied” even if his is not a “conviction” of the suspect, indeed the decisions taken against him are “to protect Of the policeman. The possibility that there are “bad apples” exists “in all families”, concludes Liguori, pointing out that the investigation is limited to “only one member of the police”.
